Fix Auto is looking for a Detail Technician!
As a Detail Technician, you will pre-clean the vehicle for repair planning and be responsible for final detailing for delivery in a timely manner to have the vehicle ready for production and for the customer will collaborate effectively with the paint and body department to achieve efficient vehicle flow throughout the shop.
A day in the Life of a Detail Technician at Fix Auto
- Detail vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair.
- Perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required.
- Wash vehicles before and after the reparations required.
- Use detail products as described by manufacturer and maintain a clean work area.
- As required, polish vehicles.
- Ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims.
- Review repair orders to work as efficiently as possible.
Our ideal candidate is someone: (Not Required)
- 1-2 years of experience as a Detail Technician or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of the collision repair industry
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
