Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Support carpentry work related to concrete forms.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for concrete placement and finishing.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, equipment, and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous construction experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with rebar installation and concrete finishing.
- Experience reading drawings to accurately follow project specifications.
- Knowledge of the use of hand tools and power tools in construction settings.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed.
