AZ Driver – Equipment Delivery
Location: Cambridge, ON
Deliveries: GTA & Downtown Toronto
Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekends)
Hours: 50–60 Hours Per Week
Overtime: Paid After 44 Hours
Our client is a leading provider of lifting and access solutions and is currently seeking experienced AZ Drivers to join their team.
This role involves delivering specialized lifting and access equipment throughout the GTA, including downtown Toronto. Drivers will operate a variety of equipment including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off units while ensuring loads are safely secured and delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off equipment
- Complete multiple pickups and deliveries throughout the GTA
- Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment safely
- Chain down and secure loads in accordance with safety requirements
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain delivery paperwork and records
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
- Work safely at construction sites and customer facilities
Requirements:
- Valid AZ Driver's Licence
- Minimum 2 years of AZ commercial driving experience
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Comfortable driving in downtown Toronto and congested urban areas
- Experience with flatbed, roll-off, construction equipment, building materials, or specialized equipment transportation preferred
- Experience securing loads using chains and tie-downs
- Ability to perform physical duties beyond driving
- Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract
- Must be able to report daily to the Cambridge yard for a 4:00–5:00 AM start
- Must be at least 25 years of age
