We are accepting resumes for a part time position in our community based group homes.(approx 20 per week, although this will vary)
This position requires flexible availability and is not suitable for students or those working other jobs. Some shifts are routine and scheduled, some are on call with 3 hours notice. Shifts may include; days, afternoons, evenings and overnight.

Must have:
- First Aid Level C CPR
- CURRENT ( within 3 months) Vulernable Sector Check
- Reliable, properly insured vehicle ( 2 million liabilty plus use for work) and the ability to transport Individuals within the community
- Flexibility and reliability to work various shifts and days.
Duties:
-Develop supportive relationships with Individuals.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals in meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Help individuals with mobility and transportation needs
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with various cognitive, mental health and physical disabilities in group home settings
- Knowledge of person-centered care approaches and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with disabilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
