Rogers & Company, Chateau, Villa & Estate Wines is a leading importer of premium wines into Ontario. Based in Toronto, we are a family owned and operated business since 1984. We are looking for a highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations, Logistics & Administration Team in the position of Operations Administrator.
This position has broad scope and will provide the successful candidate with excellent exposure to all the operational functions required to commercialize a premium wine in the Private Import/Consignment channel.
The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a highly collaborative team focused on achieving continuous improvement.
Key Tasks:
Direct support to the company directors and remote sales team:
- Enter orders
- Send copies of invoices and statements to clients
- Co-ordinate wine samples for client tastings
- Respond to email and phone orders from chain restaurants and private clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Daily consignment operations (support on rotational basis)
- Requisition products from the LCBO warehouse
- Troubleshoot and reconcile inventories between LCBO and agency
- Driver and courier logistics (internal and third party)
- Process and reconcile payments.
- Daily banking/finance
- Updating the company database on all activities outlined above
- Assist in small and larger scale client events.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in office administration or similar role
- University or College graduate
- Strong knowledge of Windows , Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel,) and Mac is required.
- Detail oriented / accurate
- Good knowledge of Toronto/Ontario geography
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong computer skills
- Highly numerate
- Function well in a team-oriented environment
Other Details:
- Full-time (40 hrs / week), 9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)
- Office based position in mid-town Toronto. Parking is available.
- Flex work-from-home 4 days per month
- Candidates need to have ‘working status’ in Canada
Salary:
$60,000+ base annual salary, plus annual bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
