A rewarding and challenging role to support, organize and develop current marketing processes with a mandate to drive Ecotrend Ecologics and DoMatcha to North American and industry leaders. You will work collaboratively with our marketing team to support our sales reps and vendors to help them succeed in the Natural Health industry. In addition this person will work very closely with the Director of Vendor Services as their assistant.
The Marketing Coordinator & Vendor Director Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Vendor Assistant
v Work closely with Director of Vendor Services to review new products/line extensions
v Facilitate the new product review meetings.
v Support Director of Vendor Services with new vendor onboarding process
v Help Director of Vendor Services to create annual marketing budgets for each vendor listed in the portfolio
v Duties may be added to and subject to change as required
Marketing Coordinator
· Organize and participate in trade shows and professional conferences
· Ecotrend Ecologics branding initiatives and social media activities
· Oversee and prepare the company newsletters and catalogues
· Host product education sessions and webinars
· Managing and maintaining company websites
· Maintenance of samples and other marketing tools for sales reps
· New product launches and line extensions
· Work with vendors on the preparation of brochures, sell sheets, deal sheets, etc.
· Maintain the promotional calendar, communicate with vendors about promotions and marketing
· Maintain product information data base, communicate with the outside sales about marketing and promotions
· Any other duties assigned by your manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in marketing
· Experience managing e-commerce website, including content updates and product creation
· Post-Secondary Degree in marketing, communication, or an Education in graphic design and marketing: skills in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoShop
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· SEO / HTML
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Organizational skills
· Team player
· Excellent grasp on the English language
· A detailed oriented mind set
· A positive can-do attitude
· Desire to improve and grow the company
· Interest in natural health and the environment
· Advanced copywriting skills
· Onsite position
Compensation
· $54,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience
· Benefits after 180 days
· Paid vacation is included
