The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on mental health care and management. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly beneficial. Registration with a College as a Regulated Healthcare Professional is required. Specialized knowledge of mental health and addictions is preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise the work activities of others and to provide leadership, in addition to excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as excellent writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. The ability to work with persons of diverse ethnoracial and cultural backgrounds is also required along with conflict resolution skills. The ability to manage budgetary and statistical data and knowledge of human resource management practices in a unionized environment is also required. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary is competitive and based on experience, with a hiring range of $110,020.48 – $137,525.60 per year.
- Employees in this role may progress within the full pay range of $110,020.48– $165,030.72 per year
