Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, cashiering, and restaurant operations, with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food delivery to tables or take-out orders as needed
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation regulations
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as CLOVER
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or serving roles is advantageous
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods and multitask effectively
