Job Summary
Mainland Sleep Diagnostics is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Report Coordinator (Interpretation Desk) to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting timely patient care by coordinating the physician interpretation process and ensuring accurate, finalized reports are delivered to referring practitioners.
The ideal candidate is highly computer savvy, learns new software quickly, types efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sleep study reports for physician interpretation.
- Finalize physician reports following interpretation, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and professionally formatted.
- Distribute finalized reports to referring practitioners in a timely manner.
- Review reports for completeness, accuracy, and formatting consistency.
- Enter and verify patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR).
- Communicate with physicians and clinic staff regarding missing or incomplete information.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to report processing and workflow as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Highly proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Fast and accurate typing skills with excellent keyboard proficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
- Experience with medical terminology or EMR systems is an asset.
