Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple job sites, insuring the crews are on time and on budget, some hands on work when needed. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management software to ensure precise and efficient work. Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair sheet metal components according to project specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project planning and documentation
- Supervise and coordinate with team members to ensure quality control standards are met
- Conduct inspections to verify the quality of work and adherence to safety regulations
- Assist in budgeting and estimating materials required for projects
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety protocols, and client requirements
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role within the construction industry ( Residential Experience)
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities on job sites
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards in construction environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to sheet metal work are a plus
