Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical detailing and possess expertise in REVIT 2023 software and other design tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the project team to produce technically successful design and construction documentation.
- Develop work plans and assist with project management tasks.
- Prepare architectural working drawings and assist in preparation of specifications.
- Preparation of Tender and Issued for Construction documents.
- Lead the development of project technical requirements and standards.
- Coordinate consultant documentation during the design and contract documents phase.
- Assist or complete construction administrator with duties including site reviews, document processing and construction meetings.
- Perform quality control reviews during all design and document phases.
- Complete building code review and analysis for Alberta / British Columbia Building Code / National Building Code.
Qualifications:
- RAL is willing to offer above industry standard compensation
- Recognized Degree in Architecture or Architectural Science or an Architectural Technology Diploma.
- Minimum of five years architectural technology experience in all phases of design, contract documents and construction administration.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of construction materials and technical assemblies.
- Must have working skills in: REVIT 2023, AutoCAD 2023, Microsoft Office, and Adobe REVU
- Excellent technical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines and work with the team to effective project completion.
- Demonstrate organisational, administrative and decision-making skills needed to effectively manage changing priorities and project deadlines.
- Sound judgement, solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
