Avery HR is looking for a General Labour - Assembly associate to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will help assemble mechanical and electrical components while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Location: Brampton, ON (Goreway & Steeles)
Hours:
Day shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm - $20.00 per hour
Afternoon shift - 2:00pm to 10:30pm - $20.00 per hour PLUS $1.00 premium
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, some electrical experience, and the ability to use manufacturing tools and read basic schematics. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to check part accuracy.
- Assist with electrical wiring and mechanical assembly while following safety procedures.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Experience
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Good mechanical skills and experience using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Ability to use calipers and read schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
