DK Concrete Innovations is a leader in commercial and industrial epoxy flooring and concrete restoration across Calgary and Western Canada. We’re a fast‑paced, close‑knit team known for innovation, precision, and delivering top‑tier results for our clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team and help drive our bidding and project success.
What You’ll Do
- Complete accurate and detailed takeoffs for commercial and industrial epoxy flooring and concrete restoration projects
- Prepare competitive, well‑structured quotes and bid packages
- Track bid opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline of active tenders
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and scope alignment
- Analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools
What You Bring
- 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, ideally with exposure to flooring, coatings, or concrete restoration
- Strong proficiency with digital takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids in a fast‑moving environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in commercial/industrial specialty contracting
- Background in concrete, coatings, or restoration trades
- Familiarity with project management workflows
