Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) – Casual/On-Call
Colwood Kids Early Childhood Centre is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our team on a casual/on-call basis.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is flexible with their availability, and is looking to gain experience in a supportive childcare environment.

- Casual / On-Call
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts available as needed to cover staff absences, vacations, and additional support requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision
- Participate in indoor and outdoor activities
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and team members
- Follow centre policies and BC Child Care Licensing Regulations
Qualifications Required:
- Valid BC ECEA (Early Childhood Educator Assistant) Certificate
- Valid Emergency Child Care First Aid Certificate
- Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
