Position Summary
Reporting to the production manager, this position is for the mechanical assembly and/or fabrication of custom cases. We offer a fast paced environment, competitive compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum mechanical or fabrication experience
- Familiarity with pneumatic drills, riveters and various other hand tools a must
- Basic Mechanical assembly experience is an asset
- Comprehension of technical assembly drawings
- Working with various types of foam – gluing, cutting and fitting
- Basic machinery operation and equipment maintenance
- Ability to multi task, as this position is not assembly line in nature
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
- Flexibility to work shifts is mandatory
- Shipping / Receiving experience an asset
- Forklift or reach truck experience an asset
- Operation of CNC router an asset but not a requirement
- Canadian citizenship and the ability to pass a background check under the Controlled Goods Directorate is MANDATORY
