KINESIOLOGIST / PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT – SCARBOROUGH
Position Overview
We are a growing healthcare organization with multiple clinics across the Greater Toronto Area, offering a full range of rehabilitation services and medical products. We are looking for a Kinesiologist / Physiotherapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary Scarborough clinic.
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, values patient interaction, and wants to develop alongside experienced Physiotherapists and Chiropractors in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical abilities, movement patterns, and functional needs
- Work closely with Physiotherapists and Chiropractors to guide patients through active rehabilitation exercises
- Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans
- Support programs involving therapeutic exercise, patient education, electrotherapy, and manual therapy support
- Set up, monitor, and operate therapeutic and mechanical equipment, including hydrotherapy when required
- Educate patients on injury prevention, movement quality, and overall wellness
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely treatment documentation
Qualifications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage time effectively
- High standard of patient care and professionalism
- Genuine interest in helping individuals recover from injury or manage physical limitations
- Comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
