Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server and Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take orders accurately from guests for food and drinks, utilizing POS systems such as POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, following food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling.
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, and hospitality best practices.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests.
