The Pantheon team is growing and currently seeking Packaging Associates that will work in varying packaging departments and will be responsible for weighing, packaging, and labelling cannabis products according to Health Canada regulations and company standards. Pantheon is fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires careful attention to detail and ability to adapt to changes in regulations and policies. The start date would be negotiable but anticipated that the successful candidate would commence role as soon as possible. This is a part-time position with the potential to be full-time.
Duties and Responsibilities (may include):
· Operate weighing, filling, capping, rolling, packaging, and labelling equipment.
· Ensure equipment and scales are clean and calibrated before use.
· Prepare product filling and packaging equipment prior to batch transition.
· Examine packaging materials during packaging and to ensure conformance to established standards.
· Perform necessary in-process checks to ensure integrity of product is maintained.
· Assist with room cleaning and perform cleaning and maintenance on equipment as required.
· Follow strict quality control checks and ensure batch records are recorded clearly and accurately.
· Record data and document procedures according to detailed record keeping specifications.
Qualification Requirements
· Ability to work a variety of shifts: days, weekends, holidays, and up to 12-hour shifts. Current Schedule is 4 x 10hr days, Monday-Thursday
· Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and practices in the workplace.
· Strong attention to detail skills, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, able to perform repetitive motions, and stand or sit for extended periods of time.
· Able to wear/use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (i.e. Gloves, coveralls, lab coat, hairnet, beard net, safety glasses, respirator).
· Ability to complete a background check prior to staring work. This may include verifying work references, validating all credentials, and criminal record checks.
Desirable Qualifications
· Knowledge of Cannabis Act and its Regulations.
· Experience working in a licensed cannabis environment.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
