Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all machining processes.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines including Fanuc and Heidenhain systems to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate machining of parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for machining tasks.
- Assemble machined parts as required, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and workflows.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, fabricating, and welding is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks and MasterCam is a plus for interpreting designs effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
