Overview
Daybar Industries is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Painter – Wet System to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will prepare and apply high-quality wet paint finishes to metal products using industrial spray equipment while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply industrial wet paint coatings using spray equipment.
- Inspect painted products to ensure proper finish, color, coverage, and quality.
- Perform touch-ups and rework as required.
- Operate and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, pumps, and related painting equipment.
- Maintain paint inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Keep spray booths, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow production schedules while meeting quality and efficiency targets.
- Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial wet system painter in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience painting metal products is required.
- Knowledge of industrial coatings, primers, epoxies, polyurethanes, and other wet paint systems.
- Ability to read work orders, specifications, and paint instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
