Job Summary: Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues.

Job Duties included, but not limited to: * Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service * Clean a section of guest rooms as per Best Western brand standards * Maintain condition and cleanliness of guest rooms and their surroundings within the section including hallways, corridors and stairs * Clean and stock linen closet and housekeeping cart at the end of the shift * Report any maintenance defects in guest rooms and surrounding areas * Provide consistent communication to Executive Housekeeper to ensure proper supply levels are kept within a reasonable working order * Must be punctual and able to work a variety of days * Other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper including cross training in Laundry and Houseman duties

Qualifications: * Basic knowledge of all cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment. * Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning task. * Ability to push and /or pull equipment and lift maximum of 50 lbs. * Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates. * Ability to work in a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
