Professional agile experience needed
Promote agile practices while consistently reinforcing scrum theory and values. You’ll build relationships within the division to remove impediments, foster engagement and challenge team members to self-organize cross-functionally, encouraging collaboration in our fast-paced, high-performing environment.
How you’ll make an impact
As an Agile champion, support teams as they reflect, adapt and continuously improve. Using facilitation and coaching, you’ll deepen their understanding of Agile principles through discussions, training, and day-to-day guidance.
You’ll simplify complex concepts and foster a culture of learning—encouraging creativity, transparency and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You'll also remove obstacles and enable teams to self-organize and collaborate effectively.
This is a hands-on role for someone who has helped established Agile teams continue to evolve. You’ll bring strong coaching and Scrum Master experience, guiding teams that already understand Agile practices, to apply them more effectively, strengthen collaboration and elevate how they deliver value.
This is not a Project Manager role focused on timelines, budgets or delivery tracking—it’s about coaching beyond the basics to help teams grow and perform at their best.
What you’ll do
- Coach mature cross-functional delivery teams to deepen their use of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban practices and product-centric ways of working
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, team events, design-thinking workshops and problem-solving sessions
- Support Product Owners and teams to strengthen decision-making, collaboration and value delivery
- Help teams navigate complex impediments while building stronger habits for continuous improvement
- Assess how Agile principles are reflected in delivery and coach to guide continued growth
- Use metrics and maturity measures to identify improvement opportunities, articulate coaching outcomes and enhance team value delivery
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications
- Minimum five to eight years of experience in Agile environments, with a focus on team-level coaching and training
- Proven experience with Scrum and Kanban, deep expertise in Agile principles and strong understanding of product-centric delivery models
- Demonstrated servant leadership, with the ability to influence change, foster cross-functional collaboration and guide mature Agile teams through continuous improvement
- Practical experience facilitating core Scrum events, including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews/demos and retrospectives, with documented outcomes
- Experience coaching teams with daily delivery work, strengthening maturity, collaboration and value delivery (this is not project coordination focused on timelines or budgets)
- Experience coaching well-established Agile teams, helping them deepen their agile mindset, collaboration methods, and delivery maturity
- Experience using metrics and maturity indicators to identify opportunities, measure progress and clearly link coaching actions to improved team outcomes
Preferred qualifications
- A degree in business administration, computer science, education, social science or psychology
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Supplemental training on Agile delivery or coaching, and advanced facilitation experience leading workshops such as story mapping, design thinking, root cause analysis or value stream mapping
- Knowledge of FCC business processes and agriculture lending practices
- Experience in long-term Agile coaching engagements where the focus was on elevating mature teams, not only introducing tools or practices such as Jira, PI planning or backlog creation
