Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and patient care. This role involves supporting various treatments, managing patient interactions, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including surgical.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
- Take dental radigraphs when required.
- Manage patient records accurately using Cloud based software system
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to infection control standards
Experience
- Proven experience in dental assisting with a solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Prior exposure to general dentistry is preferred
- Familiarity with dental software platforms and treatment codes
- Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and excellent organizational skills
- Certification in dental assisting is required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
Requirements
- Level II Dental Assistant Certification
- CPR certification
- Some experience in a dental office preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, professional, and reliable
