We are currently seeking an energetic, goal-oriented Customer Service & Dispatch Representative to join our team to cover a maternity leave contract. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role following the leave!
What You’ll Do
As the primary point of contact for our customers and field technicians, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Customer Support: Warmly answer incoming calls from new and existing clients, providing helpful information about our HVAC and plumbing services.
- Scheduling & Dispatch: Manage the daily schedule, booking sales and service appointments, and strategically dispatching technicians to job sites.
- Outbound Outreach: Perform courteous outbound follow-ups and calls to book routine service and sales appointments.
- Data Entry & Operations: Accurate input of customer records, service notes, and booking details into our system.
- Problem Solving: Offer polite, effective solutions in alignment with our customer service standards, ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Communication Skills: Excellent phone demeanor, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Goal-Oriented Mindset: An enthusiastic, proactive attitude toward meeting team and personal targets.
- Tech-Savvy: Solid foundation in basic computer skills, data entry, and multi-tasking across software tools.
- Industry Experience (Asset): Prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, or residential service trades is a plus, but not required—we are happy to train the right person!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$23.50 per hour
