The opportunity:
We are currently looking to hire a Level II Dental Assistant to join our busy and well-established practice and long-term staff members. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to the ongoing oral health of their community. As a Dental Assistant at our practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a strong team of dedicated dental professionals.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate would have a background in customer service (in any field), be a quick learner and a team player.

Dental Assistant
Schedule: Mondays 7:30-4, Tuesdays 8-2, Wednesdays 10-6, Thursdays 7:30-2:30. Some Fridays or Saturdays as required.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $22-$29/hour depending on skills, and experience.

Your Role:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
- Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
About You:
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
