Safety Training Instructor AT Safety Training - Sherwood Park, AB
AT Safety Training is an established company providing industrial safety training services in Edmonton, Calgary and Sherwood Park. We are currently recruiting safety training instructors to join our team in Sherwood Park and Edmonton location.
The successful candidate will instruct courses such as:
- ESC H2S Alive
- Global Ground Disturbance
- ESC Confined Space Monitor/Entry
- ESC Fire Watch
- ESC Fall Protection
- Respiratory Protective Equipment
- Standard First Aid
- Bear Awareness
- RPE/APR
- ESC MEWP
Role and Responsibilities: In addition to instructing training courses, the trainer will: Prepare the classroom each day for the delivery of courses and do post course follow-up.
- Enter all required course records into database.
- Be responsible to maintain the inventory of course materials to ensure adequate supplies are available for all courses.
- Participate in course development initiatives.
- Assist other team members with various projects to ensure our business is responsive to the needs of our clients.
Note: We have first class training centers in Sherwood Park, as well we travel to our clienteles sites to facilitate training. We also maintain flexibility by occasionally working nights and weekends.
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Previous experience facilitating safety training courses or other adult education experience. We are willing to train with the required experience in the field.
- At least three years industry experience in field site work.
- A focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to use Microsoft office computer software programs. (word, power point, outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Professional classroom and participant management skills.
