Inventory Control Specialist
3 months with possibility of extension
MacKinnon & Olding has an immediate opening for a temporary Inventory Control Specialist in its Procurement Department. This position offers 40 hours a week at our office in Dartmouth, NS.
RESPONSIBILITIES: What you will do
- Assist in planning activities that relate to inventory control
- Ensure all items in the warehouse are received and stored
- Keep track of raw materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and current stock
- Help prevent shortages of supply or manage unexpected shortages
- Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data
- Create, update and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with pricing information
QUALIFICATIONS: Your background
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with shipping/receiving
- A clean drivers abstract
- A valid drivers license
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to obtain security clearance
