The role: In this auxiliary role as a Certified Instructor II – Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA), you will support the delivery of early learning programs by assisting with the planning and facilitation of developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the BC Early Learning Framework and licensing standards. Ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for children and their caregivers, while promoting child-directed learning and positive engagement. Provide leadership in program delivery and support other early years’ initiatives as needed.
What we offer: The rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit position is $27.84 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of benefits (this is equivalent to a wage of $31.18 per hour). Hours of Work: This is a casual, on-call position with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed hours. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and is available to work on short notice, and is flexible.
