Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Truck Bay Wash Help. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our truck bay area, ensuring that all vehicles are properly cleaned and prepared for operation. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good customer service skills, and experience with cleaning tasks.
Duties
- Wash and clean trucks in the designated truck bay area using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all trucks meet cleanliness standards before they are dispatched.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck bay, including floors, walls, and surrounding areas
- Assist with minor maintenance or repairs related to cleaning equipment as needed
- Support team members with additional tasks related to the Car wash.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to drivers and team members during interactions
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of trucks and the truck bay area
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with drivers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift moderate loads and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
