We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network security infrastructure within a large, fast-paced environment. This is a T4-only contract opportunity based in Montreal, Quebec, offering a hybrid work arrangement with onsite collaboration.
Please Note: Only local candidates currently residing in the Montreal, QC metropolitan area will be considered. Candidates must be able to work onsite as business needs require. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available.

Position Overview
As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will support and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure while leading security projects within a complex production environment. You'll collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical network services.
This position also includes participation in an on-call rotation supporting production systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate, support, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure
- Administer and troubleshoot:
- Firewalls
- Web Proxies
- VPN Gateways
- Load Balancers
- Lead network security implementation and infrastructure projects
- Monitor and improve security operations and platform reliability
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in an on-call support rotation
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement best practices
- Support ongoing operational improvements and security initiatives
Required Qualifications
- CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
- Certification in one or more of the following:
- Palo Alto Networks
- Fortinet
- Check Point
- CISSP or equivalent security certification
- Bilingual in English and French
- Strong experience supporting enterprise network security environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and network security
- Experience supporting large enterprise production environments
- Experience leading infrastructure and security projects
- ITIL or other IT Service Management certification
