Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, service, and maintenance of furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, rooftop units, Water Heater and other HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and controls
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with TSSA and other applicable codes
- Complete required service documentation and reports accurately
- Provide technical support and guidance to apprentices or junior technicians
- Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment in proper working order
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for HVAC equipment and controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with electrical systems related to HVAC work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding workloads
Qualifications:
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License (Ontario)
- Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic License (preferred)
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on HVAC service and installation experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls (residential and commercial)
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean driving record
