Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic space for residents and guests. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Knowledge of basic cooking and laundry tasks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules while managing time effectively to complete tasks promptly.
- Communicate with clients or residents regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring garments are cleaned and stored appropriately.
- Occasionally prepare light meals or snacks as requested by residents or clients.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in hospitality settings by following established protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in English with the ability to communicate effectively; knowledge of additional languages such as French is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties.
- Experience in residential cleaning or hospitality services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic cooking skills are beneficial for meal preparation tasks.
- Ability to launder clothes and linens properly while maintaining quality standards.
