As a Service Manager, your duties will include:
-
Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
-
Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities
-
Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
-
Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up

Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
-
Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
-
Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner

Advising technicians of work that must be completed

Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service

Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers

Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop
Our ideal candidate has/is:

We are looking for someone with a Red Seal Technician designation (310S or 310T background)

Must have an advanced knowledge of mechanical and tire services in a commercial automotive environment

Dedication to providing exceptional customer service

Proven leadership ability, with a strong focus on operations and business processes

Commercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certifications

High level of integrity and accountability

Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers

Strong communication, and interpersonal skills

Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
