Our Servers are an important part of the resort’s food and beverage services team. This position reports to the hotel’s Food and Beverage Manager.
As a Server you are responsible to serve requested food and beverages to guests dining in the restaurant or in the hotel’s banquet facilities, providing prompt, courteous, and friendly service in every situation. Servers should be fully aware of all menu offerings with the ability to make recommendations to guests. Servers will additionally assist bussers with table set-up and clean-up as necessary to ensure service is prompt.
Duties include:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience both in the restaurant and banquet areas.
- Assist in the setup and break down of banquet event setups
- Offer helpful guidance with menu offerings, responding knowledgeably to questions.
- Efficiently complete prep and side work to enable focused guest care and maintain an orderly, clean station during banquet events
- Periodically check in to ensure guest needs are met, then graciously present an accurate check and collect payment at the conclusion of the meal.
- Following all safety and sanitation policies

You will bring:
- At least 1-2 years of previous experience working in the food service industry as a server.
- Beer, wine, and spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations to guests is an asset.
- Must have current, or be willing to obtain before start, Serving It Right certification.
- Must be able and willing to stand for 8-10 hours each shift. The position requires full mobility, continuous quick-paced movement, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds and pushing food carts up to 100 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings
