Senior On-Site Services Specialist – Hospitality
The Senior On-Site Services Specialist – Hospitality is responsible for providing consistent, high‑quality food and beverage setup and service to clients, ensuring smooth delivery of conference and function services. This includes setting up and breaking down conference rooms according to event orders, maintaining cleanliness standards in kitchens and meeting spaces, assembling and arranging conference equipment, and supporting office maintenance tasks such as trash removal, restocking, and ordering supplies.
This role also works closely with the Coordinator – Hospitality, Site Manager, or Integrated Accounts Manager to support internal and client events. Additional responsibilities may include general clerical duties, reception, copying, mail services, shipping/receiving, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
Responsibilities:
- Become knowledgeable with the Firm's required Best Practices in Food Service Procedures
- Prepare meeting rooms for food and beverage service
- Deliver, set up, and retrieve catering orders
- Clean and reset meeting rooms according to schedules and supervisor instructions
- Ensure tabletop items (linens, plates, cutlery, glassware, etc.) are clean and presentable
- Properly set tables and arrange furniture for special events
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area and follow Firm safety policies
- Maintain inventory and keep kitchens, conference centres, and coffee rooms well stocked
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring prompt food and beverage support
- Be familiar with boardroom technology and support conference floor setup/takedown
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of café and kitchen areas
- Perform general clerical, reception, copying, mail services, shipping/receiving, and mail handling tasks as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Coordinator – Hospitality and/or Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food services, restaurant, hospitality, or catering
- Alcohol service certification (e.g., Smart Serve in Ontario)
