VCA Canada Downtown Animal Hospital welcomes a full time, Client Care Coordinator, Receptionist to join our amazing team. We are a well-established, fast-paced veterinary clinic in the downtown core with a strong focus on customer service and patient care. We have a great group of people ready to welcome you into a positive and fun work environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated!
- Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
- Scheduling appointments; Admitting and discharging pet patients
- Invoicing/billing; creating estimates and processing payments
- Take initiative and work independently
- A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
- Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
- A love for all companion animals!!
