Overview
We are seeking a skilled Residential Audio Visual Technician Level 2 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has pride in his work, loves to be team player and enjoys deploying new technologies.
Please note this is NOT a live-event AV tech job. Candidates must have Residential and Commercial AV systems knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities (not all are required but experience in each is a plus)
- Read and interpret schematics and project drawings.
- Install Control System (Crestron)
- Install TVs, video walls, projectors and projector screens.
- Install AV racks, terminate patch panels and perform proper cable management.
- Install Low Voltage Lighting Solutions such as Lutron, Crestron and Savant.
- Install various audio solutions, speakers and amplifiers.
- Install, program and troubleshoot Security Cameras solution.
- Install, program and troubleshoot security systems (DSC NEO and ELK).
- Cabling
Skills
- Proficient in software troubleshooting related to audio visual technologies.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and low voltage applications.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with computer hardware relevant to AV setups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively when coordinating remote support or troubleshooting.
