AC Electric INC. Is a Caledon based electrical contractor, working in the west end of the GTA, from Brampton to Hamilton and surrounding areas. We specialize only in commercial and institutional renovation sectors, many of which require federal security clearances. We employ a great group of passionate electricians and apprentices that work well together. Our management is safety oriented with a goal to keep everyone safe at work. We offer a great working environment which includes only Monday to Friday day shifts with flexible starting hours and availability to work overtime.
We provide steady work throughout the year; vacation pay and medical benefits. We also take pride in registering and growing our up-and-coming talented apprentices, who learn all the skills necessary to become competent licensed electricians.
We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy tackling challenging and problem-solving tasks. We are looking for 3rd-4th year registered apprentices.
General Requirements
2-4 years commercial electrical experience
Ability to work in a team
Ability to follow direction with "I'm ready and willing to learn" attitude
Clean driving record
Clean criminal record
Great attitude
Great work ethic
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Own transportation
Buy necessary tools to work in the trade
Typical work/ Skills required to learn on the job:
Install distribution equipment, panels, disconnects, switchboards
Bend, fit and install all types of conduit
Pull wire RW, T90, AC 90. Teck cables
Install all types of lighting, lighting controls
Install all types of electrical devices
Trouble shooting experience
Read and interpret electrical drawings
Required license or certification:
Electrical License: registered for 309A OCOT Apprentice membership
Drivers License G2/G
