Customer Service Representative- Job description
Support daily operations within a supply chain environment, coordinating shipments, communicating with clients and drivers, and ensuring accurate order processing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a customer focus environment. Provide efficient administrative and organizational support to assist with the day-to-day operations, effective communication, accurate documentation and timely coordination of various administrative functions.

Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade 12) or equivalent
· Diploma in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience in Customer Service
- Keyboarding skills to a minimum of 50 wpm
- Proactive, organized approach to multitasking
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Professional
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proven organizational, time-management, and motivational skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
- Able to effectively prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with other business departments and colleagues
- Ability to work efficiently as a part of a collaborative team, as well as independently
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
Duties:
· Maintain current office processes utilizing programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Maves
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries and shipment status
· Coordinate with the warehouse staff, drivers, and dispatch to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
· Process orders, shipping documents, and customer inquiries using warehouse management system
· Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues or discrepancies
· Identify, research, and resolve customer issues and inquiries using computer system and within reasonable timelines.
· Research on all billing issues and report to Manager
· Follow up on the client inquiries not immediately resolved and document all
· Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
· Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety standards and protocols
· Provide prompt and professional customer support via phone, email, and in person
· Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as required
· Answer and direct phone calls
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
· Ensure all orders are confirmed in Maves in preparation for month end procedures
· Maintain electronic and paper filing system
· Support Operations
· Additional tasks as required/assigned
Primary Objectives

Pay rate
$22.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience
