Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked safely, maintaining proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence
- Support the serving staff by ensuring dishes are ready for timely delivery to guests
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques across various cuisines and meal types
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation, including ingredient prep and cooking methods
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently under pressure
- Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences through attention to detail and enthusiasm
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
