Job Summary
We are looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable Pool Maintenance Technician to service and maintain our customers' swimming pools and hot tubs. As a pool technician, your duties will include driving to the customers' location, performing regular maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the pools and hot tubs.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and scrubbing pool surfaces.
Monitor and maintain water chemistry levels including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium hardness.
Inspect pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders for proper operation.
Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on pool equipment and systems.
Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, water tests, and chemical usage.
Assist with opening and closing pools for the season, including draining, winterizing, and covering.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance and water quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in pool maintenance or water chemistry preferred.
Previous experience in pool maintenance, plumbing, or a related field preferred.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and work in outdoor conditions.
Valid driver's license
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Hours Required:
A variety of hours will be scheduled, up to 40 hours per week.
Hours vary between :
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Weekends and Holidays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (as needed)
**Previous experience maintaining a pool and hot tub is an asset but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00-$22.50 per hour
