Candidate Must Have:
-Compounding background
-Graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant Program or an equivalent
combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast paced work environment
- Self motivated and solution oriented
- Keep department inventory filled and maintained
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Job Duties:
- Greeting and confirmation of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry of patient care information
- Count and label prescriptions with correct item and quantity
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
Hours:
We are looking for a candidate with flexibile availability to work about 30 hours per week
