COMMENCING: As soon as can be arranged to June 30, 2020 or one day prior to the return of the incumbent whichever occurs first
COMPENSATION: Payband 7 $23.65 to $25.78
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 12 months per year

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the coordination of the Director of Information Systems, the incumbent will be required to provide
document printing and finishing services to the School Division. S/he is required to make decisions and solve
problems on a regular basis as they pertain to Print Shop policies and procedures. In addition to operating
printing and finishing equipment, the incumbent will ensure that all Print Shop equipment is cleaned, maintained,
and serviced on a regular basis. S/he is also responsible for retrieving from the computer system, opening,
sorting, and prioritizing all incoming printing requests and preparing all materials for the Division’s courier.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of Grade 12 education
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience using digital printing or high speed photocopy equipment and
associated finishing equipment in a printing environment.
  • Training and/or experience in word processing, spreadsheet and email software
  • Must have ability to work effectively as a team member or independently
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and public relations skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills combined with an ability to communicate effectively in stressful situations
  • Post-secondary graphics communications certificate or equivalent would be an asset
