Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, ensuring cleanliness, and delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to food safety standards, and excellent communication skills to provide a positive experience for our customers. Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly valued.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in meal preparation
- Basic cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but not required
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
