Royal City Dental is a privately owned dental clinic that focuses on exceptional patient care.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the overall success of our practice. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment with a focus on patient education and preventive dentistry. Prior experience with dental software such as Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting, will be highly valued. Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve our diverse patient base. The position is part-time with opportunity to grow. New graduates welcome.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth in accordance with state regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
- Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Support the dental team with sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operatory environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and continuing education to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
- Experience working with Dentrix or other dental management software preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Prior experience in dental assisting or general dental office operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
