Our Fort McMurray location is looking for experienced High Pressure Operators to join our team for various short and long term projects. This position will report to the Supervisor and will work together to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule.
Job Tasks
- Set up and control hoses attached to the pumps to ensure the safe and effective pumping of water
- Responsible for obtaining and completing customer safe work permits and any additional required documents for job completion
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues with High Pressure tools while on job sites
- Complete pre and post trip inspections
- Maintain and update drivers log book on a daily basis
- Complete necessary paperwork for safety, payroll, vehicle operation, and any other day to day requirements
- Perform labourer duties as assigned, including the use of hand tools and operating power equipment and conduct yard checks
- Train and mentor labourers to help them increase their skill level
- Ensure all equipment and tooling is cleaned and stored in appropriate unit, case, or container before it is returned to the shop
- Assist with job site preparation

Experience, Qualifications & Education
- Class 1 or 3 drivers’ license with a acceptable personal drivers abstract
- Minimum 1 year experience working with various High Pressure Equipment and Tools
- Has clear understanding of various high pressure tools, nozzle and applications & required water pressure
- Has clear understanding on the water jetting theories
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment
- Willing and able to travel when required
- Eagar to learn new skills
- Willingness to take direction and work effectively in stressful situations
- Ability to multitask and adapt to new working environments
Working Conditions
- Willingness to participate in nightshifts and overtime is a requirement
- Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Capable of standing for long durations and able to lift up to 50 lbs
This is a safety sensitive position. Offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a drug and alcohol test.
