You are
A Shipper/Receiver. Performs database transactions necessary for the movement of wheelchairs to and from warehouse stock. Ships and receives materials within the warehouse. Ensures wheelchair accessories database is current and up to date.
Your Role
- Ships and receives materials, including preparation of related documents, and un/loading shipments (with/out a forklift). Process would also include investigating claims regarding issues resulting from shipping materials.

Inputs all necessary transactions within the database for the movement of wheelchairs including entering new equipment, assigning equipment to clients, putting equipment (new and used) to stock.

Primary backup to Inventory Control Clerk.

Being proactive and responsible for the warehouse area. This would include follow up on chairs waiting for approval, ensuring a systematic storage of new and used chairs and applying the write off policy to incoming chairs.

Monthly inventory count of equipment based on the following criteria: serial number on information from the database, size of wheelchair to be used to maintain re-order quantities.

Monitoring cushion stock and re-order as required.

Confirming shipping details with Occupational Therapists and consumers.

Provides back up to other administrative positions.

Ensures shipping supplies are well stocked

Cleans and sweeps shipping, receiving, and warehouse regularly.
What You Know
-
High school diploma.
-
Forklift certificate an asset.

Typing speed of 30-35 wpm.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computers including customized databases.

Experience in a related clerical or warehouse position considered an asset.

Sage experience is an asset.
