We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Environment) to support a wide variety of energy and infrastructure environmental assessment and planning projects, particularly in the energy and transportation sectors. The ideal candidate must be motivated and detail‑oriented and have strong work experience with environmental standards and regulations in relation to environmental assessments and permitting in Ontario. This mid to senior level career role is for office locations in Ontario, with a preferred location in the GTA, however we will consider other locations.

Manage complex projects, acting as a project manager/coordinator responsible for the development and management of scopes, budgets, schedules, and effective quality oversight of EA studies, environmental permitting and approvals, environmental management and environmental monitoring.

Lead efforts to obtain and comply with environmental approvals/permits for projects from regulatory agencies (municipal, provincial and federal).

Support the growth of environmental planning and environmental assessment market share in strategic markets, assisting with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals and other business development related activities.

Interact with clients and regulatory agencies and ministries and independently coordinate and manage external subcontractors to ensure that projects are successfully delivered within timelines.

Be a role model for effective project management and mentor junior and intermediate professionals.

Over 10 years of demonstrable successful project management including experience managing and coordinating environmental assessments or securing construction permits/approvals within fast‑paced engineering or environmental consulting environments.

Experience with Individual/Comprehensive EAs, Class EAs (Hydro One, Municipal, MTO, etc.) and Metrolinx/TPAP), with an understanding of wider Ontario environmental regulations are considered strong assets.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage competing deadlines, and deliver projects effectively.

A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related degree.

A professional designation or membership (full or provisional) in a relevant professional body is an asset (e.g., PMP, CAPM, RPP, EP).

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $91,000- $125,100 annually) (Only Applicable to Ontario). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
