We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and health histories
- Develop customized treatment plans aimed at pain relief, relaxation, or rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with health regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures
- Perform couples massages and packages with team members.
Experience
- Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns
- Ability to build rapport with clients, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
