What will you be doing day-to-day?
Providing Tier 3 Cloud Infrastructure and Application support for the entire Global Managed Services side of our business
Assisting with complex incident, requests and problems escalations.
Delivering hands-on IT support and infrastructure recommendation specialising in Azure IaaS/PaaS and/or Azure Workplace
Offering input in developing and maintaining policies, procedures and standards
In partnership with Technical Account Managers and Capability Leads, supporting strategic customer roadmaps to assist Managed Services customers in fully leveraging cloud technology
Coordinating escalations directly with Microsoft Premier Support
Serving as a technical mentor to your peers - this is a great opportunity for someone keen to further utilise and develop their Azure technical support experience
What type of experience do you need to be successful in this role?
Relevant professional experience in a similar role
Expert-level knowledge and experience in troubleshooting any Azure issues with specialty in either Platform and/or Identity, Endpoint, Teamwork technologies
A desire to learn new technology and be a champion for change
Enjoy being a subject matter expert for the business
Certifications in MCITP, MCTS, MCM, MCSA, MCSE (e.g. MS-100/101, MD-100/101, MS-700, MS-500, MS-900, AZ-104 etc)
Strong communication skills to concisely and effectively provide technical explanations to non-technical individuals
The ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment where requirements can change rapidly
Experience in developing innovative technical approaches as complete solutions to business problems
Good understanding of Managed Services and ITIL principles
Additional experience with System Center, Log Analytics, Update Management welcomed
Does the role require travel?
The role is currently 100% working from home however some travel to our office will be required in the future.
